GENERAL Thank you for choosing a SEM product. Midi is a powerful language with many functions. At SEM, after many computer simulations, we have tried to interpret this langauge in the best way for the accordionist. We have chosen all the essential functions that are necessary for playing and programmed the rest. As a result we have produced an instrument which is complete and easy to use. We have a included a sound card with nearly 400 carefully selected sounds many of which we sampled ourselves (130 accordions and 60 old electronic accordion sounds). You will not find these samples on any other product. Also we have included solo instruments and orchestral sounds. The possibility of connecting headphones without an external amplifier allows the possibility of silent practice. The accordionist will find all the most popular accordions on board: italian, scottish, jazz, classical, french, etc., and for each of these the different registers also. Standard bass and free bass registers as well. The 3 sections (treble, chords and bass) can control indepently or at the same time the internal sounds or an external expander. The ÒspecialÓ function eliminates the major problems associated with Midi connections - it automatically divides the instrument which then plays internal sounds on the right hand and on the left, the sounds from the expander. It is possible to separately adjust the volume and the pitch (octave) of the 3 sections and also possible to switch ÒonÓ or ÒoffÓ the bellows control for right hand or left hand or both.
